Pansies were my grandmothers favourite flower and this card just reminds me of her so much. I used the new IN COLOUR Wisteria along with Baja Breeze. The centre piece is popped up from the outerpiece with a layer of cardstock dividing the two. The glossy paper really makes it look spectacular. I love this 2-step stamping set too. My Club members used this set last month to make a spectacular card that I'll show off later in the week. Look out for my August Stamp a Stack Date too, if you're not on the mailing list email me at laura@hyperstamper.com to find out the dates of the stacks and classes coming up.
ENJOY!

Jacqueline Cameron brought this awesome card to our Leadership Retreat for members of my downline who have achieved leadership title over the past few years. We all LOVED this design. Thanks Jacqueline for the inspiration. I can't wait to incorporate this one into my classes! The card is made with Rose Red cardstock, ink and ribbon and the stamp set is one of my favourites - flight of the butterfly.

I've been surprising hostesses and guests who come to all of my home party classes with a beautiful stamped card holder which will hold 4 gorgeous cards and envelopes which they make at the class (actually, one of the cards is a gift from me too). On top of the tips and techniques they learn guests are going home STAMP HAPPY and hostesses are thrilled that they're friends and guests got more than they expected. PLUS, this is the last month I'm offering the PAMPER YOUR GUESTS card holder incentive so book your classes for June as soon as possible! It's a great time to kick off the summer with your pals! This is such an EASY and GORGEOUS technique. All you have to do is run some aluminum foil through your BIG SHOT using any of our embossing folders, trim it up and add some awesome embellishments and stamped images. Than add it to the top of a box and add some of the cards from your card stash....you're ready to give a fantastic hand-made gift from the heart! This was one of the many gifts my hostesses and guests who booked classes recieved in May! I gave away 20 of these gorgeous boxes and hope to give away another 20 this month. I still have room for TWO more classes this month...email me at laura@hyperstamper.com

Well, Declan and I had SO MUCH FUN in Alaska. It was just a BLAST! We did everything from whale watching, to kyaking to mountain hiking to visiting the Yukon! He was in his glory when we spotted bears and mountain goats on our adventures and held real starfish in the waters of Ketchikan, Alaska. Now it's back to the grind and a wild month of trying to go for the gold as I'm desperately trying to earn the Disney World Trip for 2012.
Stampin Up just put out the new lists of stamps and accessories that are retiring and gone forever as of July 1st. Lots of these items are discounted between 20 and 40% off so check out the lists carefully. To see the lists go to http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/laurarobinson/

This pretty little card was made with the So Happy Together stamp set and the oval scallop die in the BIG SHOT! I love how it POPS using the WHITE GEL PEN and some pop ups!
Can't wait to tell you all about our advnetures when we return.
ENJOY!

This is a classic card design that I keep coming back to with a twist of a new look. I've been teaching this card at several home party classes lately and it's been a huge hit! Stampers love to colour in the petals of the flowers using the SU white gel pen and than adding that touch of glitter. The accordian fold is an all time favourite of mine. You should see the other 2 designs your home party guests get to make....email me if you'd like to see the cards and to hold a class of your own before the end of June. laura@hyperstamper.com
ENJOY!

Razzleberry has to be my favourite SU colour (actually tied with tempting turquoise). I love this simple pocket card. The SO HAPPY TOGETHER stamp set is too cute to pass up on this simple technique. I love how the insert pulls up and you can slip in a gift card, money or secret note. This set is under $20 so put it on your wish list and watch out for the retirement list on June 1st to make sure you can still get it..just in case.
ENJOY!

Last week I held my Happy Together Stamp Set class and it was so much fun. Stampers had so much fun making 6 cards with this stamp set AND TAKING THEIR STAMP SET HOME for only $25.00. I'll be holding another class like this next month with a whole new stamp set. Make sure you register early as I can only accept registration for 12 participatants.

So, just stamp with pretty in pink ink onto your vellum using the Daisy stamp image. To get the grass stamp pink ink onto pink cardstock for the foreground and layer the vellum on top. Finish it off with your punched oval expression and ribbon. How awesome is that?

Our Designer Series Paper (DS is AWESOME to use in 3-D projects because it's doubled sided and make everything beautiful from all angles, inside and out! I learned how to make these cookie packs at the Heart and Stroke Scrapbooking and Stamping event a few months ago in Grimsby. Janet from the Kit Company demonstrated these. I immediately went home and made them with our own DSP and embellishments and than demonstrated these at my megameeting in February! Everyone loved them. The inside wrapping around the cookies is a coffee filter that I stamped on to pretty it up! Aren't they fantastic? It's simply a piece of DSP 9" X 4" folded and taped. I scallop trimmed the tops for details and on the pink one used a gorgeous paper rose made for me by my Sales Account Manager at Stampin Up. Send me YOUR cookie pack creations to laura@hyperstamper.com

Today's card design is EGG-ZACTLY what I was hoping for, an elegant but different Easter design for this season! I used the Nature's Nest stamp set (which I LOVE) and the tulip border embossing folder in my big shot for extra texture. I coloured the eggs with certainly celery (hey, that almost makes egg-salad) and topped it off with coordinating ribbon! DIVINE.
ENJOY

Todays card design is simple, unlike me...complex and hyper. BUT, every now and again I like to taste the simple life in my card designs...like this one. A unique combination of colours with simple lines and the amazing stamp set AWASH WITH FLOWERS to top it all off. ENJOY!

Eileen MacAuliffe was so inspired by the Megameeting card I did last month she made this gorgeous take on it. I love how she used the top note die. the lattice die, the bird punch and flower punches. It looks like an old country porch fence and window doesn't it?
thanks so much Eileen for sharing this with us. We'll be doing a card like this at next months stamp a stack so watch for details and dates.

I have to get my head into spring...maybe this little delightful card will help!
This is a really cool technique where you split the cardstock that the flowers were punched out from into two. You do this by either crumpling the paper over and over until you loosen the fibres or dampening the cardstock slightly, crumpling and than peeling the cardstock apart. It gives the paper a really soft, velvety feel too.
I used the swirls from the Priceless stamp set and a lovely corduroy button (still available on the Clearance Rack) to polish it off.

Can you believe we're sitting inside on a spring day looking out at the BLIZZARD? What the heck?
Since I can't go out and my stamp class was cancelled because of the snow I thought I'd spend some time getting ready to get my blog up and running again. I admit with work at the hospital, getting my oldest son Davis ready for college and keeping my other 2 sons out of jail...I mean trouble, that leaves me very little time except to spend it preparing for my stamp classes (don't worry, it's something I LOVE to do).
So, I know now that I need to keep up with the rest of the stamping community. So, now that you get all of my newsletters and event postings via email now you can log on and check out all of the new projects and events I'm planning.
Please drop me a line to let me know you've been checking out the website...it'll inspire me to keep going. Also, I'll enter your name in a draw for a free stamp set to be given away on April 15th.
ENJOY!

There is nothing prettier than the Ornament Punch with gold embossing. I love how this card turned out. I used the Northern Flurries embossing folder in my BIG SHOT and than punched out the ornament after embossing the image from Delightful Decorations. I got this idea from a swap I received at Regionals (artist unknown). Now I have to get back to my design table and get started on my STAMP CLUB designs for our Christmas club night. Can't wait.
ENJOY!
